***I am a 16 year old girl passionate about God and life. I adore dancing, writing, singing, acting, speaking, reading, & laughing. I love my family and love my friends. Music-- so important to me. I love to sing hymns with my dad, but love to listen to Krystal Meyers, Barlow Girl, and Hilary Duff. Good movies are such an inspiration to me, such as The Chronicles of Narnia and Phantom of the Opera. I am a pretty normal teen girl when it comes to movies, boys, makeup, but I try to serve God with my life.
Expertise: I'm not an EXPERT at anything. I am WORKING on becoming a better ballet dancer, singer, and speaker through my ballet lessons and speech classes.

| Hello! What is up? Well for one thing it is snowing on this lovely April day. How excruciating. lol Well I went to Ballet Magnificat performance on Sunday in Wisconsin! It was a road trip all right! It was me, Joy, Emily, Erin, baby Emily, Christina, Mrs. Hedden. I got to come along last minute I was very thankful! Because it was absolutely inspiring! It is a Christian professional ballet group that travels around the world. They performed the "Hiding Place". Oh how I'd love to do something like that. Ballet means a lot to me, it's just with all this speech stuff ballet has been put on the "back burner" lately. Dancing is excellent for me. Here are 3 of my loves: dancing, writing, and books. Dancing- makes me feel precise, strong, beautiful, like I'm worshipping God, and gives me the most satisfying feeling when I can do it. Writing- writing a diary, writing poems, writing down favorite quotes etc, writing prayers, and I'm writing a play right now. Books- devotionals, poetry, lyric poetry, quotes, the Bible, Anne Frank's diary, English stories, creation/Christian books, history books. Yuppers. And then there's speech of course. The regional tournament is OH MY WORD next week. Yikes. Anyways I wanted to put in an extra note here for Tori- great job at speech my lil' sweet pea! :) Oh and here are some insides jokes from the trip to WI: Emily: I would never eat ice cream at a place called Cheese!! Emily Again: Where's my jacket? It looks a bit windy out.* haha Emily cracks me up. Lov to all

| HI!!!!!!!!!It is 74 degrees out!! Wow! And I'm on spring break! Double wow! And I am done with the speech tournament! Triple wow!
Well if you're wondering how the tournament went...it went pretty well! Bethel college is absolutely awesome, lots of rooms, cool paintings, a nice lounge. Friday went fine, it is so fun everyone who goes is awesome it's great to see everyone and hear other speeches. Saturday was a long day I had to get up at 6 and rush off by 7 which was nearly IMPOSSIBLE for me. We finished the 3 rounds and then it was annouced who "broke" for semi finals and finals. And I broke for impromptu semi finals and my original oratory. It was pretty exciting. I didn't go on to finals for impromptu (which was ok since I woulda had to go in front of tons of people on a big stage gulp) but I am satisfied getting into the top 8. And then awards...Jess and I placed 2nd in our duo! I was suprised! And I qualified in everything so I am GOING TO REGIONALS!! In Kansas! I am so excited! Everyone did SO well. Tons of peeps from our club placed. Great job to Joy! (I know you read my site lol) I love your humorous! And great job Jess! My lovely duo partner! Well I gotta go I have ballet class in a bit so latah everyone!

| well things haven't gotten better unfortunately...they've gotten worse! i am sick today! my throat and my nose- I'm all stuffed up and my throat hurts too much to talk. i've had enuf stress & now i'mm sick. :(well what the heck I guess i realize now i'm not super human i can't keep going and going and be stupid and not suffer consequences. hopefully i will get better before Friday. the tournament day. well you know what, when things get hard like this i need to rely more on God. I trust Him. yesterday we went to Amazing Grace. It was really good. it is good to watch inspiring movies like that. I recommend everyone to watch it! here's something to remember:

| Ballet is cancelled today! GAH!!
I always hate it when ballet is cancelled.
This morning I went to give my Gap theory speech at creation moments to a few of the employees. They loved it, it went well. I'm feeling ready for the tournament...which is this Friday and Saturday. I've been kind of down lately, I hope things get better.
